We’re excited to share that today, we had the pleasure of hosting international students from the American University of Armenia. They visited Parpi with a fascinating purpose to explore our village as part of their university project presentation. Their journey began with a visit to St. Gregory the Illuminator Church, where we introduced them to its history and significance. We then guided them to the statue of Ghazar Parpetsi, a prominent figure in Armenian literature.

Their curiosity extended beyond historical landmarks, as they also took an interest in the village’s cultural house, youth center, and surrounding areas.

Since Parpi is home to numerous churches, we continued our tour with visits to St. Tsiranavor and St. Gevorg churches, each holding its own unique charm and history.

Our final stop was the village school, where the students explored the classrooms and discovered the various clubs and programs shaping the next generation.

It was an inspiring exchange, and we’re grateful to have had the opportunity to share Parpi’s rich heritage with such eager and engaged visitors!
