Parpi, a village in Ashtarak community of Aragatsotn region, Armenia. The distance from the regional center is 5 km to the northwest, and 30 kilometers northwest of the capital of the Republic of Armenia – the city of Yerevan.the height above sea level is 1100 m.

The population is engaged in horticulture, cultivation of vegetable crops and animal husbandry.

The 5th century Tsiranovor Church, the 7th century St Targmanchats Church and St. Grigor Lusavorich churches are located in the village. Saint David and Tukh Manuk chapels are also located in Parpi.

The medieval Armenian historian, author of a number of works, Ghazar Parpetsi was born in Parpi.(442_510)
